About Me
My Journey as a Tutor
I have always been fascinated by Maths, and my passion for the subject led me to start helping my peers in the classroom. I found an interest in how people can perceive Mathematics in such different ways, and likewise in how many different ways I could solve a problem to accomodate anyone's learning style.
This was when I started tutoring, first my friends and then to more and more students as I gained experience. I find it incredibly rewarding to see the progress in every new student with careful planning and dedication.
Now as a Mathematics student at Loughborough University, I continue to advance my own knowledge whilst refining my methods and teaching skills.
My Passions and Hobbies
Alongside my passion for Maths, I love to run in my spare time and compete in races over 5k and 10k and cross country for Loughborough Students Athletics Club. In my downtime I like to spend time with my partner and my close group of friends. We especially like going hiking and taking the dogs for walks!
Safegaurding
I am committed to creating a safe learning environment for students, and I understand that children’s safeguarding is a priority.
I have an up-to-date DBS certificate and take an annual course on child safeguarding to ensure that the proper safeguarding is in place for all students that I tutor.
